App Spree

I wanted to do a bt so i could keep my money in my money market account earlier, so i apped for the slate, but they only gave me a $500 limit, so bleh on that, no bt i guess butttt

I decided why not go a little further...

Apped for the citi forward, discover it, barclays upromise, and boa student travel card, got approved for all of them.

Back in the garden for me!

How did you apply for the Forward card? I thought they discontinued it. Or did you get the college card?

Im a college student. Got the student version.

Im still pissed about the slate limit though. From what I've read on here, reconning the limit is another ho (even asked the guy about it when i called up) and rarely do people get a better limit.

I hope so. At least it was an approval, right? Build a bit of relationship and app for the freedom (which i wish i apped for now) and the csp later.

Add the Freedom to your next spree and like others have recently suggested - use that same HP for your CLI.

OP What does your credit score and history look like? I want the Upromise card but can't find much info on people applying for it since it went to Barclays.

you can try whogavemecredit, or google "credit pull database"

Right now my tu (before the spree) was 693,aaoa is 1 year (including student loans)

I had to call up and recon (probably because my util was like 50%) but the guy i spoke with happened to be a UF alum, so i think we connected. XD

yeah who gave me credit was only showing citi approvals for years ago, noithing recent

hmm ok thanks.... my util is much higher than yours on some cards, but won't be applying until some time this summer anyway so I can bring that down, but my aaoa is a few years more than you so that may help compensate for the paid judgments/collection i have.....
