Existing card? Limit? Balance? How long?

Mortgage?

Auto Loans?

Any negatives you have?

Income?

If you have a clean credit report, you should be able to qualify for almost any card.

Hard to recommend a "second card", without knowing the what the first card is.

There's more to cc approval criteria than FICO score.
As the others have stated a little bit more detail would be wonderful.

OK MY FIRST CREDIT CARD IS THE CAPITOL ONE JOURNEY IM LOOKING FOR A SECOND CARD TO BUILD UP MY CREDIT I DID GET AN OFFER FROM DISCOVER IT CARD IN THE MAIL BASED ON MY CREDIT REPORT NOT SURE WHAT TO DO IM NEW TO CREDIT CARDS I ONLY HAVE ONE CREDIT CARD FOR 7 MONTHS MY BALNCE IS 500

You have a very short credit history but a friend of mine was able to get approved for the Discover it with only 7 months of Credit History and only one tradeline (a Cap 1) showing up on his report.. He didn't get a instant approval thou but he called and was approved on the phone with a $1500 CL so I think you might be able to get appoved for the Discover it... Just make sure to have a low utillization on your current credit card (less than 30%) so you will be increase your chances of getting approved

Your credit limit is $500 ok

Do you currently have a balance on the card?

Do you know what your other scores are?

Do you have any other loans? A mortgage or car loan?

Who do you bank with?
