Received Discover it credit card offer! update; approved with 1k!

It has been 3 months after getting BofA secured card (CL $300) and I've been taking care of credit utilization really carefully since then.

And I received my Discover it credit card offer today through postal mail! (guessing it's pre-approved?)

I just wanted to say thanks to you guys for helping me!

* When should I apply for another card? recommendation? credit karma shows my score as 721.

Update:

Just filled out the application and approved with $1k!

Do not waste a hp right now keep waiting another 3 months at min if that is your only credit card right now and I would suggest trying to increase that secured CL to at least 1k before applying for the Discover IT. Without know any details about your situation it makes it hard to give better advice. Income - Fico score - Other accounts and any negatives would help us give you better advice. 99% of credit mistakes happen when people rush to get it give it time and take care of it and it will take care of you for the rest of your life. 3 - 6 or even 9 more months of waiting in order to get a good CL will seem like no time at all in 5-10 years from now.

well it's worth trying, isn't it?
that is a totally diffrent story. This card is designed for people with thin files and if you have no negative and are in school and have some income or support you can show its a great way to join the discover family and as you and the card age it will help you down the road if you take care of IT.

Well i haven't received any of my new ones yet (slate, barclays, forward, IT, or boa travel) but currently my favorite one (oddly enough) is my capital one. My highest limit, no minimum rewards to get a credit, and I'll be getting my 50% bonus in june.

not capital one! lol name value is kinda low to me.. :/

I purchase $1k ~ $1200 worth of flight ticket per year, and occasionally purchase things from Amazon, dine out.. etc..

still go with capital one?

Well for amazon and dining out, definitely citi forward. 5% on both.

Also, i see you have boa secured. Did you add rewards to it?

well I tried to add reward.. but they said they don't have secured reward card.. so strange

I researched little bit I found out I needed to add it when I got approved..

You should be able to do it at anytime. Try asking a different person. Make sure you specify the 1-2-3 rewards.

And uh, not sure. I would use my boa travel just cause, but i dont really know.

Strange! I was be able to convert it right away through chat.. previous guy said I can't convert it... wowwwww man... I was missing out like whole time!
