BOFA Luck

I have been trying to get a BofA card for about a year.I have tried the preapproved site for a year nothing on their for me. I have a saving account which I have had for a year with $25 in it. Lost my password and called tonight to deposit money in account, had to talk to someone on phone who gave me my password.After getting my password he offered me a Visa plt card with 0 BTF 9.9% apr no annual fee and with 3000 CL I said ok so quick that he had to say repeat so I said Yes Yes I will accept. NOW THAT'S LUCK.

BofA does not give anything on the pre-appoval site-

My Eq report is opted out- this somehow stuck after my FA last year.

Thanks Concorduser, Timothy, Sylviatob and Moonman. I'm happy for myself. I wanted that card very bad now all I need is a CITI and USAA card and I will be done credit hunting.

Several of us have had VERY good luck with Citi over the past 2 weeks. You may want to put them on your short list. Especially with your scores.

Sylvaitob which citi card you think I may have a chance with. I have a HD card I want a visa or MC with them any ideal which one I have have a chance at

I received 2 pre-approvals from them. The new CashReturns M.C. and a Diamond Preferred M.C. Applied on line within 3 days of each other, and both approved, with a $7,500 cl on each of the cards. They are the first cards I've ever had with them.

They pulled TU(I'm in Texas), with a score of 662.

I'd think if you don't have any CO's or collections, and any baddies you may have are over one year old, imo you stand a pretty good chance of getting a Citi card.

Thanks Sylviatob I think I will apply. I will check who gave me credit and see what scores got approved. For those cards.

Coolo! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I'd suggest you wait at least 24 or 36 hours to check on the status.

But here is the status hotline number: 888-201-4523. that's the number I called. But I waited 2 full days to call them. Note that the phone number probably is their Philippines call center to take such calls.

I do have to say that the times I've spoken to both Discover & Citi, I've been put through to what I consider, account specialists who are very kind, very understandable, and actually take time to visit with me. No script readers there. If you know what I mean.

My scores have been a flat line for 3 months-

You got to love a little customer service

I really have all the credit I need (for now) I try really hard not to add up my availible credit- it is kinda scarry-

Ohhhhh Timothy, I totally understand where you are coming from. I'm trying to fly under the radar, hoping to avoid any AA's from anyone, due to this mini-spree I've just come off of. And there is no cc out there that I need or want(at this time. MMMV.lol)

And yes. True customer service is such a rarity to me. lol. Like a welcome breath of fresh air.
