I just got a lot of credit limit increases with NFCU and Navcheck. Should I close Amex blue the limit is $5000 and the int rate is 20.24 awful rate? Can I change the blue into something better?

Does it have an AF? If not don't close it just SD the thing if you're not completely happy with it. How old is the card? And many people have been successful doing a PC with Amex. Do a search on "Amex PC" to see what comes up.

No fee. I've had it close to two years. The rewards and the int rate aren't that good. I will research it. Omg so much Amex info on here lol..

I think the blue earns MRe points.

I would recommend just keeping it open. It certainly isn't hurting you.

Why not PC it to something more worthwhile if it's not working for you?

Not sure I see the point of a Blue, but the Blue Cash line is nice as is the Blue Sky for certain folks. Not sure if you can swap to one of the co brands but Amex likely rates either 1st or 2nd currently in terms of CC product suite.

I'd certainly investigate the option before closing the card or even letting it sit idle.

PC it into the BCE card. I applied for blue and after having it for like two weeks PC it to the Blue Cash Everyday which was much more lucrative.

Definitely SD it or try for a PC. Doesn't make any sense to close.

I haven't called to ask them to lower my rate, too scared to ask. I just did the 3x cli after reading on here about it. I did it over the phone automated and didn't have to speak to anyone. I will have to get up the nerve and call them today and ask for rate decrease and pc. Thank you for all the info...
