Suntrust rewards card

They called me from a local branch and said I was preapproved for one of their rewards cards. He tried to compare it to Discover. I thought that was interesting, since Discover is 10 times better and it isn't a true cash back card, but instead points based.

Suntrust has been pretty stingy with me in the past and seems to be stingy in general. I was surprised at the offer.

I haven't heard of any stellar reviews or positive feedback associated with their rewards program. Some folks may like their "watered down" versions of the reward structure. However, you would be better off with Discover as you pointed out.
