What is the best way to set up automatic minimum CC payments each month. I currently have:

Cap1

Use your Bill Pay feature from your own banks website... Or you can set them up individually on each CCCs website... Just harder to manage when the info is in more than one location...

For any that offer automatic minimums, I sign up. That way I help to ensure I'm never late.

Some have an online signup form. Others still use paper.

I like MyCheckFree for those who participate. It's like withdrawing cash, paying the bill in person, and having it credited same day.

Just remember, if you set this up directly / separately with each CCC and the payment does not process they are responsible. If you set this up with your bank and they mess up, the ccc's will jack up your apr. Always make sure funds are available. I have it set up directly with the ccc's not my bank. If the ccc does not offer this, such as Amex, then as a back up you can use Bill Pay at your bank for a specific amount. But as a back up. Not completely dependable.

Thanks for the suggestions. Will check into options. Think first I need to try to get my statement post dates or payment due dates scheduled at the same date of month. I want all payments to be due at the same time.

Actually my bank sends a guaranteed check. If it doesn' get there or there is an issue, THEY pay for it. Says so right on the check. I only had to deal with it once when they sent a check instead of an electronic payment and I had to reply on their website abou the issue and I never heard another word about it.

As far as set up. I set my minimum payent to be paid as soon as the statement falls, the rest I pay on my own depending on what Money says.

If your bank offers ebill, you can have a notification sent directly to your bank and your bank will notify you.
