Walmart 7-10 day Message

Well, I knew it would be a long shot to try and get the card now, but I didn't burn them in BK, and patiently awaiting cap 1 to report my 2 new cards and only had 5 INQ effecting my TU score with 2 of those going to fall off in mid April, so I figured a small loss of points for a new INQ would be ok.....By the end of April I will only have 4 effecting my score. Question is, the lovely/dreaded 7-10 day message isn't always a NO...Cap 1 did that too me last month, and it turned out to be a yes....Anyone have a 7-10 day message with WM and what happened? Thank yall

Thank You! I just called and it was decline....sad face...oh well, I honestly figured it would, but figured the inq won't really hurt me by next month.....I will wait until my scores go up!

Something from my CR....She said it would say in the letter....my guess is my BK...its only 45 days since discharged....No biggie! I really shouldn't have done it, but thats too late for that...and it will be aight.

Sounds like you discharged the same time I did and Walmart denied me too and I'm already in the 600s after cleaning up my reports. I'll try again this fall.

Agreed Starry.....Thanks yall! I will await to try again later this year. oh well, whats good is my INQ are still pretty low! and by then, there will only be 3-4 effecting my score.

i, too, got denied the wm cc...got the 7-10 business day response, but call the backdoor number for recon...they are hard on recons...they do pull TU, but have their own scoring system...give it a few days and they will email you their decision, then you can log back online and see why they did with the score that they gave you based on their scoring system...as for me, i'm going to wait about 6 months before applying for it again...gl!

Well, I have not got the denial letter in the mail yet, but got a denial email just a few mins ago stating that I was declined due to BK. I figured as much because it was so fresh. Good news is that it gives me great hope I will get approved down the road later as my BK ages.
