Discover IT card Look

I PC'd to the Discover IT card from my Discover More...I received my card in the mail today. I honestly don't like how they put the name and credit card number on the BACK of the card. It looks like a gift card....not a credit card. Ugh.

Yeah, I'm considering not activating the IT card until I have to...when my current card expires. Good Idea, thank you.

I think they have other versions you can get such as NY skyline other might chime in

You guys don'r kind of feel like it looks like a gift card? lol...I think I was planning on SD-ing my Discover anyway since it's my lowest CL anyway....

I like that all the info is on the back. I notice only what they consider prime cards are like this. Amex,Discover etc.

Personally I cant tell the difference between most of my cards and gift cards.

It really is just a piece of plastic, except for those metal cards.

The CSP and other metal cards are nice, but they seem to be very prone to scratches and they're generally thicker, which makes my wallet thicker and heavier as a result.

IMHO I still like the looks of Discover a lot more than Freedom, Cash+ and Barclays.

It’s a copy- cat of the Chase CSP design.

Many compliments with the CSP card. Most have to look at the back to make sure it’s actually a credit card.

I’m sure you will get the same from the Discover. The only difference I think is the CSP is made of Stainless Steel. And Discover is plastic.

lol no offense haha

I still like the those cards for their rewards structure and overall service they have provided me with so far, especially when I compare them to Citi regular CSRs. Nothing to really complain about the overall experience,

The Freedom card looks like a toy card though. It's just not as serious looking as I hope it could be.

The Cash+ looks nicer on US Bank's website. The actual card has a different shade of blue and looks more purple-ish.

My arrival just looks dull haha.

I like the looks of all my cards. I held a capital one spark card at work and it felt like a cheap gift card. It felt really bad. The discover does not feel this way. Plus I "discovered" at the bowling alley that it glows under a black light and the word discover pops out. very cool

just something from the link posted earlier and I found It funny. Cause this what they hell I had to do and I still spend spend, but I pif lmao.

There is too much credit card debt. Holders of credit cards should have to put up a deposit before they can use their cards, like the renter of an apartment puts up security. No credit card borrowing should be allowed. Naturally that would cut consumption way down, but that is what is needed.

there's already a system in place for it, and that's secured credit cards.

People who have proven to be unable to manage credit in the past, or people whom are still unproven to be able to manage credit, normally have to resort to secured cards.

Tightening regulations on credit card debt isn't going to be a solution. People whom insist on spending beyond their means are just going to find new ways to spend beyond their means, such as through payday loans or whatever they can get. The emphasis should really be about educating people and cultivating good habits of finance management at an early age. There ought to be stiffer punishments for defaulting on debts as well, but that is not an easy thing to implement because of the number of people who get into financial hardships solely because of medical bills. Many laws have to be changed and new laws have to be implemented in order to really reform the system.
