Navy Federal Mail Pre-Selected offer?

I've been with navy federal for about 2 months now and my score has risen about 60pts. (540 to 605). I checked my mailbox before going to work today and there was a letter from NFCU. It's for the cashRewards credit card and it basically says apply today and has an Acceptance Code. Is this a pre-approval or something and is it a soft pull? I went to the website it has listed for the offer and it just asks for my last 4 of my social. So will it still be a hard pull if they are just asking for the last 4?

Congrats on the pre selected offer!!

In my experience even with the pre selected offer it was a HP when I opened my CashRewards.

Just my luck. I'm actually in the middle of trying to get approved for a loan and was told not to apply for anything else. Geez. I guess I'll have to wait until after the mortgage.

The offer will still be there. Do not take any chances with messing up your mortgage loan.

Yeah I'm not. Especially with my scores barely reaching the minimum requirements.
