How long to wait for "Slate"

Opened 3 accounts in early May. Looking at another chase card, their customer service is excellent, A+. Leaning towards a Slate or United card for the bonus. I don't carry any balances but if a larger purchase is needed, it would be nice to earn rewards then BT for free with 0%. My scores are current. What kind of a CL could I expect in a few months, do they usually assign lower limits then the first card?

Actually, whether or not one gets a high or low CL on subsequent cards seems to be randomly determined. There's no way to know unless a new account is opened. The one caveat would be if one is nearing his/her internal limit with Chase.

just curious, none of your new accounts have a 0% promo?

Use the 0% promo for now, and if necessarily, open a BT card then.

Chase rep told me bt promo can be used up to 18mos from opening it, maybe I misread them. Anyonw pc from United card to slate and still get the no bt fee option?

Those are really two different cc's. rewards vs nothing. Yes, you can BT at anytime during the 18 mos but if you don't need it or carry a balance; why app now?

The general rule for chase is the longer you wait, the better. Whether you're apping for new cards or CLI, it's all the same. Therefore, if you feel your chances aren't good, don't apply.

With those scores and those limits, I would say your good to go.

I app'd for CSP 5/20

Cap One 5/21

Ink Bold 5/30

US airways 6/10

Freedom 6/30

and was approved for all of those.

My freedom limit was just under my CSP limit.
