Discover question

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew what would cause Discover to not pull your credit when applying for a card. I applied for the student more card before it changed and was given a 30 day message, but no hard pull.

Earlier this morning I applied for the student Discover it and got the 5-7 day message. I went to check app status, but it's teling me my application is not found. It does say that you may have to wait 24 hours, but I'm not sure. Maybe they don't believe I exist?

Welcome to the forum!

Assuming you have never burned them in the past...I'd wait to see f the second app results in an inq.

Did you have a CS for the first app?

No i've never had a product with Discover before. I did have a CS the first time I apped.

Discover is the only cc you are having this issue?

Yes this is the only card. Now whenever I go to check my status it sends me to the credit card homepage without the error message.

I'd call using the backdoor number and find out the status.

Okay will do. Is that the retention or recon number? There is two listed in the backdoor thread.

Recon should get you to a credit analyst.
