Store card AU question

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you guys could help me out. My wife has some old store cards Macy's, Kohls, Nordstroms ect.... And I was wondering do they report AUs? I'm pretty new to credit so it would be a great help to my AAoA.

I added my son to Target and my boyfriend to Macy's. Neither one has reported. I've read that if they are Visa/MC/Amex, and require the SSN, they are the ones that will report AU.

They report.

They don't report. However, in some cases for specific retail cards or the majors (depending on the lender), is if the address is the same for both parties on the same account, then in those scenarios the AU could report to the CRAs. You would need to check with the lender though just to confirm.

My DD is on my Nordstrom and it reports. I haven't added anyone to my Macys so I can't say for sure but some here have had no problems.
