Hey y'all!

I'm new here, and have been browsing the forums for a few days now.

I recently applied for a BoA Cash Rewards Card online after receiving a pre-approved offer in the mail.

It is branded with my school's National Alumni Association, so I thought, why not?

I was not instantly approved and it said to wait 30 days for a decision.

My FICO score is 690 and I was approved instantly about 4 months ago for a new Citi Thank You card.

The only late payments on my report are for my student loans and those late payments happened nearly 7 years ago.

Do you guys think I'm going to be denied for this credit card or do you think they are just taking a closer look?

Welcome to the forum! They might need to verify your identity. Give them a call using the number in the sticky for Backdoor Numbers.

I applied 2 days ago and got the same message. I called today and was approved after they verified my info. Give them a call. Good luck!!!
