Is there any app status phone number or online app status check site for National City? I want to see what is the CL I got approved for.

Is there any app status phone number or online app status check site for National City? I want to see what is the CL I got approved for.

concorduser as far as i know they do not have any of those at the moment. But if you call 1-800-558-8472 after 8am eastern and ask to be transferred to an underwriter he/she will give you the limit. A regular CSR wouldnt know for at least a week if your application has been approved or denied.

Thanks maz. I'll wait till I get the card and see how much I got for CL. If it is less than 10K then I'll ask for CL of at least 10K.Since they just pulled the CR to approved the card why do they have to pull hard inq again if we ask for CL?

Sorry didnt mean to cause any confusion in my other post. What I meant to say was you can always ask for a higher starting credit line based on your existing credit bureau report since you just got approved but anything after that will result in a hard pull. Its been less than 30 days since I got approved and after a week's usage I called in to get a CLI and was told that they would do another hard. So I decided against it.

If they give me less than 10K CL then I'll ask them for CLI. If it is around 10K, I'll just use the card and be happy with it. How good are they with the cash back? Do you get the money back for your charges every month as they promised? I love to get the money back instead of points. I like to see cash back. Just cant wait to get the card in to my hands.

$2k but I had a fairly recent baddie (2 yrs old).

I appd online and received an e-mail response pointing to a manual review. A few days later I get an e-mail saying I was approved but no CL was listed. It did have a phone number listed. I called that number and was able to get the CL. 1-888-622-4932. I called and they seemed stand-offish. I then told them I had been approved and their tone did a 180 and was eager to help.

I am still waiting on my first statement to cut. However the information package I received with the card says once you reach $100 in points they will send you a check. Best part is there is no yearly limit or cap. The more you use it the more money you get back.
