Hello All,

I have lurked here for the past couple of weeks and learned quite a bit from those who contribute here. If possible, I'm hoping I can get some opinions here from those who have experience or are familiar with this kind of situation.

Quick history - I only got reinterested in boosting my credit scores recently. After my Ch 7 BK in 2008, I became a cash only person. I only cleaned up my credti enough for a new position I was looking to obtain last year. Seeing credit reports and scores on a regular basis, helped me gain much more clarity and more confidence to set some of my own credit goals again. I wasn't sure what kind of cards I could obtain given that I still had the BK and IIBs, plus one student loan that, although rehabilitated, showed a last report of 120+ days late that I couldn't get removed. I had been denied an upgrade from USAA out of my secured card even though I had paid it off and barely used it and raised the limit on it myself by adding more to the CD backing it. I had only obtained 3 toy limit store cards (all $300 or less).

To the heart of this post - So I started searching the internet a bit and I saw Credit Sesame recommended on another site. I joined them and was recommended to try the CapOne for Newcomers Card with a high interest rate, but no annual fee. It had rewards also - 2% for travel, 1% everything else. Sounded good so I went for it. Instant approval for $1000. Yay, my first unsecured card.

I look around the CapOne and noticed they just intorduced the Quicksilver and Quicksilver One. 1.5% across the board which would work better for how I use the card. I app'ed for it and was given the message for a review. I called to see about switching over from the Newcomers to the Quicksilver or Quicksilver One, but was told I would probably be denied since I applied for two cards at the same time and it would be a new relationship. Well, I ended up getting approved for the Quicksilver One with a limit of $1000.

Prior to getting this second CapOne approval, I obtained a $7000 NFCU Flagship Rewards Card and $15K NFCU NavCheck also. (God Bless NFCU) So I'm really good on credit now.

What should I do concerning the two CapOne cards? Do I keep the one with no AF and drop the QS One? Ask about combining the two cards into one? Should I keep both? Any other thoughts?

I really would appreciate your input. Thanks so much!

PS - Sorry for the long story; just trying to frame the picture since I am new here.
