Amex Blue Cash--Mid Month Payment

I can't make mid-month payments, before the bill posts on my blue cash card...erhhhh. There is $220 in activity, but $0 actual balance due, so it is a no go. This stinks! My gold card let's me do it...I think...(haven't used it in a while).

You can once the first statement posts, but even then you'll only be able to make a payment up to the balance on the last statement. Once your bank account info has been in their system for 30 days, you'll be able to make a payment for any amount you want every 48 hours.

In the meantime, you can always push a payment to them through your bank's billpay or through a service like MyCheckFree.

They've had my bank info for months and no other recent payments...how weird. But, I'm loving the billpay idea!! Thanks!

That's weird-

I have never had an issue-

You can force payment though Bill pay or just call AMEX up and they will bust it though for you if you banking info (as stated above) has been in their system for 30 days-

That's right! Thanks for the reminder, Timothy. I completely forgot that Amex CS was able to take a payment for me one time even when the online system wouldn't.

I have 16 Biz cards all with out PG and not even using my SSNo. It is a great way to build Business Credit.
