Got approved for a $500 credit limit..... Are they good with credit increases? what should I expect? thanks

I got approved yesterday for the same card and CL.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT CB THEY SOFT EVERY MONTH? IS IT TU, EQ OR EX OR ALL 3?

I've seen a lot of posters getting auto-CLIs after 6 months. I've yet to see one for myself, after carrying a balance for 6 months, and heavy usage + PIF after that, still no sign of an auto-CLI for me. As far as requesting a CLI, I'm sure others will chime in too, but you should be good after using it + PIF for 6-12 months and then requesting it.

They do auto increase usually after 6 statements. But that is only if u behave to their standards. They soft TU. But if you are borderline like i was they will soft EX as well. Search here for Barclay AA. It will give u something to read for the next 6-12 months of no new inquires/accounts. They don't like new accounts or inquiries. Congrats and good luck

You should lay low from apping for any new credit for the 1st 6 months. Use the card heavy and PIF. Every 6 months they do a manual review of your file and if your looking good they do auto luv. Any customer initiated CLI requests are HP's.

We recently asked the same questions of the forum

The pattern we noticed was

Barclay likes to see balances the first 1-6 months

They love people who use BT's

Not alot of new apps the first 6 months

The forum responded nicely to break the myths if you want to read
