Is HSBC slow this month??

Has anyone had their HSBC accounts post yet this month? I keep checking but nothing on my accounts.?? Dad-Gummit I really have some important personal business that needs to be taken care of and I paid all my accounts and they have all reported EXCEPT HSBC accounts. Perhaps everyone with an HSBC account should call and ask them why they are not reporting. (?) I'll make the first call.

I thought it was just me. My Best Buy store card (HSBC) usually reports to my equifax around the 25th or 26th and it still has not reported yet. I have been checking everyday just because I paid off my christmas presents 3 month promotion and wanted to see the zero balance,

I have the Platinum MC but it always reports mid month after my statement cuts. I have noticed it a few days late in reporting at times but nothing significant.

Seems like this has happened before. I think last September or October it was so bad that people were speculating that they had gone to every-other-month reporting. Then they lurched back to life again.

I'm having the same problem and I'm upset because the balance thats being reported is dragging down my score. I've paid off the balance but it hasnt reported since 2/2008. This card will be put in the sock drawer if this is what I can expect from them.

He already kicked them to the curb-

HSBC is NOT known for their PRIME products - I kicked them to the curb a few months ago myself-

I acctually enjoyed the HSBC bashing- I do a bit of it myself.

My point is- Dispute the balance if the change is that important-

HSBC is KNOWN to report slow - the batch of updates the send the CRA's is HUGE

Unlike most creditors that send many updates though the month - they send them ALL at once-

It might be 1 to 3 weeks before it actually updates-

HSBC is also known to NOT update at all (unless you are late) - this seems to happen every 3 months.

so i went to hsbc and they are still showing my payments pending for 3days now...

They are little wierd cause it said I had pending charges... but when I called they said those are positive charges to account that are still processing.

I keep reading site for stuff on what to do... then I end up heading to CC site to add another payment.. lol already did 3 payments in 1 week..

I made a large PIF payment 3/22. It cleared my bank 3/25. It is off my balance but still shows as pending and hasn't added to my available. On 4/01 I made another small payment for a purchase made after the payoff, it cleared the bank on 4/03 and has already come off the pending balance on the CC website. I guess they are just really careful about crediting large payments. Odd that it takes so long. Of course, they still haven't updated CR.

I just want HSBC/Orchard to report my card already I purposely left the balance on it past the end of the month, but if they're slacking this month, then that probably doesn't make a difference lol

OK. I no sooner complain about that PIF not showing on my available and *POOF* there it is. No longer a 'pending' transaction. Hope that is good karma for the balance reporting.

In stark contrast, I have a brand new HSBC account, and the first statement closed the other day (after the first of the month). It's already reporting.

My HSBC card is due on the 9th of the month. On my new statement it shows only 55.00 balance and an increase of my cl another 500.00.

I would think this would make a good difference on my scores.

HSBC however has not reported for March yet for me either.

April is now two days from due.

NOT FAIR!!!

I bet if I paid late it would be on there within a smaller time frame!
