I remember having that card back around 2002 and couple of other cards but then went to debt consolidation program

and reading someone else's thread about HSBC/Cap one collection just brought back memories

about providian lol

I used to have one of their cards a while back. I believe they were sold to WaMu and then to Chase?

+1 Exactly how the chain went. I recently applied for the CSP and had to recon the analyst told me about a CO I had with them that I never owned a chase card. I guess the system doesn't know who the original credit card was from once they get bought out.
