If, and I do mean, IF you got approved right now, you'd be facing a smaller credit limit then what you're itching for, and you KNOW it...

Stay in the garden...reduce utilization...let inq's fade...

Maybe this will help, it's a little game my wife made up for me: I get 1 chance to input the preapproval codes from memory, if I can't I don't app. Seems to work so far!

Very goody tcb. TY. Utilization is good but inquires are hurting me. As you said, need to let them fade. What's wrong with us, (me) the power of that "submit" button and seeing an approval is like a drug. Lol.

That would depend on your cr profile. Some would have difficulty with 5 on a thin file. Thicker files can usually get by with a larger number.
