Easiest Citi backed card to get?

I really really REALLY want a Citi backed card. Which is the easiest to get? I really don't care what the credit line is; I just want a foot in the door, so to speak. TIA!!

That is really weird! I applied for Macy's and Bloomingdales on their websites and was approved. When you look there application it reads DSNB is that Citibank?

as best i have heard it explained. co-owned, divison of sort of thing.

Ducky is right (again)!

DSNB is co-owned by Citi and Federated Dept. Stores, who in turn own Macy's.

My only question is whether the Macy's card registers on the Citi radar as one of their own. Great card on its own, but does it count as Citi? (I'm guessing that it does, because of the recent flood of Citi invites to members who have Macy's, but I don't know if that was cause or coincidence.)

I got declined for HD but I was approved for Macy's. Not sure why there is the distinction between them, but I love my Macy's card.

well, you can apply directly at sears. my sears credit is a citi also my goodyear charge card is also citi issued. they were both instant approvals.
