Cap One PC to Quicksilver World MC

Happy Monday Everyone!!!

Just a quick message to let everyone know after seeing no offers on my account and being told none were available through online chat as well as regular CSR, I contacted the Rewards Specialist via their toll free number and was told within a few seconds I was eligible for a PC to the Quicksilver with no AF. I then asked if it would be a World MC and was told that it would be. This was after being told by the online chat rep that I was not eligible for a PC but could apply for a Quicksilver. Really, even though I had the max number of cards allowed by Cap One?

I just thought I'd remind some and inform others of another option to check for a PC to the Quicksilver without having to contact the EO. NOTE: The disclosure the rep read states I can not take advantage of any other offers within the next 6 months. But I can still request CLI.

I PC my Plat to a Quick Sliver No AF but it stayed a mastercard and not a world mastercard. What was your credit limit on the card? Keep is updated when you receive the card! I would Luv a world mastercard lol

I PC'd my Cash Rewards and the limit is $5,000. I will definitely update once I receive the card which should be in 7 to 10 business days. Part of the disclosure that was read did include the fact that I can start using the benefits of the World MC within the next 7 days.

As far as I know, they can't change from a Platinum Mastercard to a World Mastercard. I was told the same thing from a rep once I was PC'ed from a rebuilder Platinum to a regular Venture, that it would be a "World" MC, but it remained a Platinum Mastercard.

+1...same thing happened to me. PC to a Venture MC and it says Platinum and not World.

Hey can someone please confirm if I convert the card it won't show up as new credit but a continuation of the old account. I can't take that hit right now.

UPDATE - Just wanted to give a quick update. I have not received my card yet but when I logged into my account, I noticed the account is now a "World MC" and the rewards have been updated as well. I'll update again once I actually receive the card.

i changed mine both my cards have a 10000 limit so both my cards were changed from platinum to world mcs. i got my cards last week
