GE usually just decreases the credit line to $124... all you have to do is call and request to go back up or even more sometimes and they will... but why not just put gum on all these cards instead of debate when they will close.

you don't even have to leave the store with the balance if you don't want to deal with statements or reporting... you can pay instantly and be done with it... they see use, your credit doesn't.

Target will start reducing the credit limit after about 1 year of inactivity. This recently happened to me and so I just closed it. I don't use the card anymore anyway.

Which Amazon? The store card is backed by GE so the same answer as given above. The rewards card is back by Chase. I can't remember what the agreement said though.
