You can only see SPs when you get your credit report directly from the CBs - not from third party sites like eliminateidtheft or even myFico.

I subscribe to a service (eliminate id theft) that let's me see all my three credit reports updated daily, however I don't see anyplace where it reports soft inquiries. It does show the hard inquiries though. How do you guys see when you're being soft pulled by your creditors?

Here's a little trick I did recently, I hope I don't get in trouble for this. I did like I was intiating a dispute on Experian's website. I put in all my infromation. The thing is, they have to show you your report first so you can tell them what item you are disputing. Once you get your report, you can use the report number to see your report for a while (not sure how long, I did mine a month ago and I can still log in with the report number). It refreshes the report everytime you log in witht he report number. You don't actually have to dispute anything. That way you can see all the soft pulls. Try it and see if it works for you.

Does anyone know if the 3 credit reports for $39 from Equifax will show the soft pulls too? I'm worried about buying it since it uses words like "consolidated" and such just like the reports I get from eliminate idtheft, which does not show the soft pulls.

Then you can update every day if you would like but it only updates Equifax after that. This plan shows the soft pulls as well as the hard pulls. I find it very useful and the Equifax score from it is pretty close to FICOs score. The plan gives a lot of relevant info such as account age, inquiries, dates that each creditor reports, credit utilization and has a score simulator. I ended up getting a special deal for $9.98 per month for a year. You can pay monthly or yearly. So, your main question, the answer is yes, it shows the soft pulls.

Annualcreditreport.com is the method created by the three major credit bureaus to pull your credit reports once annually, for free.

Use this before doing any other service since it is free. As previously mentioned, with Experian you can use the report number they provide with this report to get an updated report EVERY day for 90 days.

I have went on to the 2 credit bureau's and hit the "I was denied credit and get a free report" and each time I do it, it gives me a free report (which shows all of the SP's). They always ask "who" denied you and it suppose to be within a certain time frame that you were denied. I will make up a name and a date within that time frame. It has worked every time.
