CLI AMEX ALERT STRATEGIES!

IM GOING TO HAVE MY 3X CLI @ AMEX IN 10 DAYS. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?. DO I NEED TO MAKE ALL MY CARDS 0 BAL? PLEASE I NEED YOUR ADVICE, WANNA MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS GOING TI BE SMOOTH.

I just got my first Amex, so I dont have any first hand experience yet. But I have read in a few different threads that people have suggested having a 0 balance on your Amex when you make the CLI request

I have more than one AMEX card. Do they all have to be at $0 before asking for the CLI? Or just the one that I want the CLI for?

I've read the same thing. I read also that you should have low utilization across the board with your other cards, too.

Yes they sp me last aug. 4 , right now my amex is 0 bal. But my other card is not but when you calculate util its 5-6% .

Low Util definitely helps but it's not the only factor. I got my 3X CLI when I had close to 88% utilization across the board and 25% on AMEX

Just got my 3x CLI from AMEX couple days ago. Total util was about 5% across all cards but 18% w/ Amex. Basically two cards with balance and three w/o. With that said, Not sure what it was when they softed me but that's close. Not true that you need to be at 0 bal with them at time of request. I went from 3500 to 10000.
