I was approved for Barclays apple today. I am going to hold out as long as I can while still getting the interest break. From what I gathered from Barclays back door, they are granting extension. So we will see.

Barclay( my last app) I had to recon at the back door. They sited too many inquiries. However, I couldn't help them due to major life change. New job as an outside sales rep, I had to move to a new city, rent app, cable/Internet app and new car. Along with Cap One and Chase. They were very understanding. The customer service at Barclays is a dream to deal with.

I still have the one my parents bought us back in late 2008 still works fine maybe once I get a job and app for Barclay Apple I will upgrade to the newest one.

I will keep my eyes and ears open. More than likely attempt to ask for extension period to be safe. Thanks for the info.

Bears and turtles- with the way computer technology is still making leaps and bounds, you might want to wait until the 08 is starting to wear out. Whatever is available by then with be out of this world (maybe an exaggeration) but you get the picture. Just a thought. Then again, who can say no to a new apple product?!

Yeah I get the picture, last week I chatted with an Apple rep and asked how long an iMac last and she said up to 10 years, and if so we still have 4 to 5 years left,
