Looks like you have a thin file, and maybe a short AAoA. I wouldn't push the issue of high CLs too fast. Do you belong to a CU? Plus, DiscoverIT has been giving out decent CLs, if that one interests you.

how old is your car loan?

You don't have any lates or negative info on your CR right?

What is your approx. income?

All lenders can start you at high or low CLs. There's no one card to apply for high CL. It just depends on your income and whatever is in your CR itself.

My car was ran for 2yrs and I'm never late on anything. My income is $35k. And in April when I got my Citi card my score was 721

Based on reading this thread, my advice to the OP would be to take a week to read this forum and educate yourself. After a week or so of understanding what credit is and how it is used, you will be in a better place to make a more educated decision. It will be well worth it.

I agree with azguy13. Go through the threads, ask questions and then narrow it down to your top picks. Although we can give you a list of our top picks, they may not be best for you. More information regarding your travel needs ie lounge access, domestic, international, particular airline and how many times a year you plan to travel- would be a big help

Would you benefit with a hotel cc? If so, where do you stay?

whic citi card do you have? What range are your fico scores in? What is your income level? What are you trying to accomplish with a third card? It is really up to you as to what you are trying to do. If you are trying to simply build your credit I would certainly recommend getting a third card as soon as possible. In my opinion it is healthy to get 4 good tradelines gardening as soon as possible so you can good roots for a solid AAOa down the line. When I consider which cards to get I consider relationships. I want to have a good relationship with some of the biggest banks in the US so I am trying to have a relationship with each of them by getting one card from each. The companies I hav considered in this are Bank of america, chase, citibank, and wells fargo because they are all huge major companies and it would not be bad to establish a relationship with any of them .BEyond that I apply for cards that don't have a lot of fees. There are lots of choices out there with no annual fee so I look for that. I also look at the customer service ratings for these companies because that is important to me. I look at the interest rate that they are offering and the terms and compare. To help me do that I use several sites on the web. Good luck.
