I am trying to find the Cap1 EO number if anyone can pm that to me. Also has anyone been able to get a CLI on the HSBC Cap1?

Last September, which was my one year anniversary with this card, I called the number on the back of the card to get the annual fee waived. I read all the horror stories about Cap 1 never granting CLIs but I figured that since I was on the phone with them anyway I'd ask for a CLI too. They gave me a $200 increase from $750 --> $950.

So, the annual fee is coming up again soon so this time I took a different approach. I sent a polite and well written (IMO) email to the EO asking for a PC to Quicksilver and a big CLI. I expect to hear back from them in a day or two and I'll report back the results.

I'm working on this at the moment :-)

If you have an annual fee, don't forget to ask them to remove that (they did this for me the same day they called me back.) I'm still waiting to see about the CLI

Thanks on my one cap1 card I PCed to a quicksilver with no AF already hoping to get a CLI on that card

Hey man, I got an HSBC with $300 limit raised to $500 today and got the AF dropped! Looks like the EO is the way to go :-) Keep us posted on your card too!
