Stick a fork in me..I'm done for a while. BofA Amex approved.

EX has gone from 712 to 741 in the last couple of weeks, due to getting util down to 1% with only two accounts with balances. I thought it was time to strike while the iron was hot.

I got the BofA Amex tonight. Instant approval for $2500. A little low, but this is without the new $15K CL from WaMu reporting. I plan to wait to activate the BofA card until after WaMu reports, and request a CLI on activation, pointing out my $15K CL with another lender and couching my request in terms of what BofA can do for me in that respect.

I got the 9.99% APR on purchases and 0% on BTs for 12 months. (Not that I have any Bs to T.)

So I'm officially done. In the last seven days I received two new cards, both of which were intended to accomplish a specific goal, and both of which were accomplished.

WaMu for a substantial CL. Done.

BofA for a prime card with a prime lender and for a card with a concierge service. Done.

Next app: Amex Platinum, January 2009.

I'm afraid these new accounts are probably going to hit me a little hard to make Discover a possibility in the near future. I'm not that thrilled with Discover anyway. If I ever got one it would be just to prove to myself that I could get one.

For the record, I saw today that BofA only pulled EX on me. There have been lots of reports lately of them pulling both EX and TU, but for me it was only EX.
