Email Executive Office of Any Company

1) Try regular customer service first. Contacting an EO right off the bat is a bit obnoxious. Go through regular CS first and give them a chance to resolve your issue, let it be documented you tried to get help and then escalate to an EO as needed.

2) The next step is to write up a professional email that briefly explains your situation. Include your phone number so they can follow up with you. Be short sweet and to the point!

3) Pull up Google Finance and search the company name. Look under "Officers and directors" and choose a few names starting from the top. These are the people you'll be emailing.

4) Find their emails! How so? You just have to figure out the format the company uses for email addresses. Usually it's firstname.lastname@company.com or some close variation. Again, Google is your friend here: "company name executive email" will bring up some intersting results.

5) Send your emails (President or CEO in the "To" field and everyone else "CC'd") sit back and wait for a callback!

You're right, Eileen Serra took his spot. However, I did send an email to Gordon earlier this week and someone from the Card Services EO called back the next day. The point is to email someone high up at the company and your email will get to where it needs to be very quickly.

I was just giving you a hard time. All of them at that level have multiple email accounts - the public facing, obvious one and one with an obscure address that is known only to internals & business relationships that need to know it.

The public one is filtered by assistants, while the private one goes directly to the person in question. Things that arrive in the public facing account that the assistant thinks he/she needs to see get forwarded to the obscure address, while other matters get forwarded to the appropriate department for resolution without the ostensible addressee ever seeing it. It's the only way they can get anything done without having to wade through potentially thousands of emails every day.

Gordon's private one, for example, is something along the lines of A123456JJ@jpmchase.com (not his actual address).

It is still a useful tactic though for getting somebody to actually put eyes on your complaint, agreed.

Some people like to go straight to the EO with problems that regular customer service can handle.

According to myfico TOS, you cannot provide the email to one specific person on the thread. You can, however, PM it to other users if you wish.

Yes, and it has always struck me as rather, um, silly. What fraction of posts here are of the form "What is the email for Capital One EO?" followed by "PM me too please" X hundred times. Putting these in a sticky along with the back door numbers seems a good choice. Making people request PMs adds to the post count for advertising rates I guess.....

And similarly with the credit pulls database. We aren't allowed to link to that site because it is "bad", but even mods here tell people to google "credit pull database" which takes you to that site.

And yes, they are free to make up any ToS that are legal, and make following them a condition for using the site, but breaking the speed limit and overstaying parking are also against the law and I am willing to bet many of the ToS defenders ignore those rules!

I agree, just letting OP know because many others as well as myself have been modcut in our early days on the forum due to posting the emails/phone numbers to individual people.

Not sure about that one (as someone who has a 7 figure compensation package and does NOT consider himself to be a public figure).

I'm pretty sure that your email address being available all over Google probably does make you one though.

I think most of the complaints you listed are with the owners of myFICO, which is Fair Isaac Corporation.

From what I understand, the mods don't exactly have any say in the writing of the ToS, nor do they have any authority to change the rules. Most of them seems to be just volunteers, I think.

Maybe the owners of this website do not want to be advertising for a competing site, which is understandable, but for whatever the reasons are, it is what it is.

I do agree though, CEOs are public figures. Almost any company CEO's supposedly email is a surefire to reach the executive team, or the CEO himself, if lucky. Steve Jobs used to reply to emails sent to him, and his email is as easy to guess as many of the examples given.

Edit: To add, some companies abbreviate the first name, but retain the full first name, so Steve Jobs for example would be sjobs@apple.com

Some companies uses dashes, some uses periods. Keep trying all combinations.

I personally believe that any C-level position in a publically traded company is a public figure. Sadly, my opinion is not the opinion of the Fair Isaac Corporation.

Chase is always firstname.lastname (and occasionally firstname.middleinitial.lastname), but again, for divisional CEOs, that person will almost certainly never see your email. Those accts are monitored by assistants, and filtered. The div CEO has a secondary, more private email account that doesn't follow the naming convention. That's the one that they actually monitor themselves.

Difference between 7 and 8 figures ;P

I would say about 25% of the homeowners in my area have 7 figure salaries.
