Possibly the Huntington Voice card (the version with 3X rewards in a category of your choosing) especially if you are in their banking area.

Do you have a US Bank in your area? Apply for a Cash+ in the bank (you won't get it) and they should give you the Cash Rewards card instead (basically 1% cash back on everything) which someday when the credit limit is high enough you can PC to the Cash+ (which is their best card). If not in the area, apply for the Platinum card online, as several people, myself included, have PC'd that to a Cash+ over the telephone after 4-6 months.

And there is the Fidelity Investment Rewards Amex for 2% cash back on all purchases.

I know of 2 examples of people with 732 and 730 FICO scores getting a US Bank Platinum card this year, with $8,500 limit each. I don't know of any other examples offhand. Basically, I'm the person with the 732 and I remembered someone else on myfico getting the same amount with 2 points less.

Platinum has no cashback, just a 0% intro APR. But you use it to work up to a cash+ with its two selectable 5% categories, one selectable 2% category, and 1% everything else.

Would stay away from US Bank post BK, they are not friendly (for at least 5 years)

Not sure about HNB would steer clear of them until someone with a BK gets approved.

I would suggest a local credit union for another card. They genreally have decent rates and give good limits.

Be careful about getting anymore cards with the Barclays so recent. They have been known to not like app sprees and have closed or CLD'd accounts for similar activity in the past.

I burned Citi in my BK and was able to get a Sears Card with a $3000 limit post BK. Maybe that would be a good one with being a new homeowner that could prove useful for home improvement projects, appliances, furnature, lawn and garden and so on.

I don't have any Citi cards, but I am slightly interested in getting a Citi Dividend card someday. At least it has a signup bonus, and the law of averages implies that someday they may (quite by accident I'm sure) have a useful 5% bonus category. After all, even a broken clock is accurate twice a day...

Anywho, because of this, I have been using the Citi pre-qualify checker, oh I must have used it 3-4 times over the summer. They never gave me a card I was interested in so I ignored the advice. Until a week ago, when they sent me 3 letters, one for each card I pre-qualified for, and each letter thanking me for my recent visit to citicards.com and gave the full details of the offers, with APRs, bonuses, etc.

So, it wouldn't hurt to use that pre-qualify check occasionally, to show them you are interested. Since obviously someone IS keeping an eye on such things at Citi. Then its up to them to decide if they want to overlook the past and re-establish a working relationship.

PS: I've also been using the Chase pre-qualify tool. I never get any offers from them

Be careful with Citi? They seem to absolutely hate baddies and will deny you based on that. I got denied a while ago for having a fraud co that was like 6 years old- wasn't mine because i wasnt even old enough to have credit when a stupid utility bill was put on my CR -.-
