I just applied for a CSP this week and got approved at $7500. I have a year and a half old Freedom that started with a $4000 CL and has gotten no auto Luv. I wanted to change the Freedom to a Visa Signature. Would it be better to activate the CSP and then call for a CLI on the Freedom or to transfer $1000 of my CSP limit over and ask for the Signature then?

Bear in mind that merely having a $5000 limit does not necessarily mean you will get the Signature version automatically.

What has your spending throughput been like on the Freedom?

There was also another thread posted yesterday about Chase not allowing Signature upgrades for the Freedom.
