SDFCU EMV Platinum Visa Denied and Sent a Recon Letter

I applied for the SDFCU Visa and was declined due to my Experian being at 628, recent inquiries and "escalating debt". So after reading some posts, I found out that recon letter is the way to go. So this morning, I sent an email explaining my situation. Let's see what happens!

Are there any SDFCU members here who got approved with 628 Exp?

NyaBuksh,

I was denied with a 680 E FICO score. I sent an email to recon and followed with a phone call to Lending Solutions. SDFCU asked for a months worth of pay stubs. About a week after I emailed my pay stubs, I was approved but only at 8.9%. I'm not complaining because this card is the lowest APR card I have.

So far I really enjoy this credit union.
