Does anyone have any experience with Discover post BK? I'll be 5 years out soon and getting my credit in shape to app soon, I want the it card....

Some folks have been able to get approved, others have not... it depends. It seems some have had success the older the BK is along with a vast improvement on CRs and other factors. The option usually gets to be trivial whether Discover was IIB.

I applied 2 years post and they said we can over look the BK but I have too many new accounts and my AAoA was too short. They like to see at least 3 years of AAoA, not very many inquiries and low utl. Good luck and keep us posted.

It seems you're halfway through the BK reporting period. So, if your scores, CR profile has had significant improvements and no other COs/unpaid liens or major derogs currently exist, then your chances would likely be decent. They may start off with a small CL ($500-$1K) and mabe not the best of terms (~20-22% APR). However, once you get your foot in the door, the APR can be reviewed once you've had the account >1 yr and you can still qualify for future CLIs.

I was approved about a month ago...did not get the 0% for purchases and the rate is 22.9%. I had to call in, they asked me some questions, regarding the BK and current situation as of now, etc...and then said welcome to Discover. My limit is $1500.00 so was happy and I am now in with Discover.

My BK is 4 years old now
