Joint Account?

I have a question so I have an already established account, Is it difficult to get say an AMEX, BOA or Discover to change the individual account into a joint account upon request? Would the other person's credit then be evaluated if I asked for an joint account instead?

credit worthiness would be evaluated for the co applicant when added, assuming they can add it to your existing account (don't have experience in this tho)...but definitely if applying as co applicants both individuals' reports are checked

Amex does not have joint accounts. As far as the other lenders, yes a credit report will be pulled.

Disover is the only of the 3 that I believe offer joint.

You can call or do message online to ask for them to mail out the joint form which both cardholders sign.

I just put ours in the mail today to add myself to my partners as a joint (already au on it) I'll update regarding hp's and such.
