I SMd Chase tonight about PC'ing my charge card into the revolver, I was told they can't do it. I had also asked about moving some of my flex spending limit over to the new account and was told no also.

Then, the rep went on to say that Chase has changed their policy and only allows one account from the same product family per customer. Does that mean I can only have one Ink, and I need to chose which one ? I thought for sure I have seen reports of people having both the revolver and PIF version.

The 1 card per family seems to be a new policy and it does seem that chase is enforcing it. Seems to be their solution to closing the 50-60k signup bonus loophole

Just to clarify, when we say 'similar product family,' we mean one business card per person, one United card per person, etc.

Shouldn't affect multiple credit cards from Chase, right?

One person reported that you cannot have more than 1 Visa siggy.

I believe it also applied to people who want both a CS and a CSP. I am not sure why you would get both, but thats me. I am sure in the next week or two we will have better clarification of what is going on.

Hopefully they dont mean 1 visa, 1 MC, 1 visa Siggy

Maybe you can only have one Ink card now, or at least one Ink with an annual fee and one without. I don't know why they ever allowed people the Ink Plus and Bold anyway.

I replied for clarification and just got this:

I apologize for the previous e-mail response.

The same product decline applies to Personal accounts and
not for Business accounts. Hence you can apply for an Ink
Plus account, if you have an Ink Bold or even another Ink
Plus account.

I hope the information helps. Chase could easily not give the bonuses out to people who have had the card in the past. They also are guilty of giving cards to those that don't need them. Selling something on ebay two times a year is not something that needs a business credit card. If I were a credit card company, you'd have to have a legitimate business and have evidence of it to be approved for a card. Also if Chase sees multiple 504.95 purchases at office supply shops they could easily tell the cardholder to stop and if they don't just not give rewards anymore. There are many things Chase could do to stop this nonsense, but they don't.

This goes for any lender really. FIA asked me business questions, but American Express, Citi, and US Bank approved the business cards without asking a thing.

I also don't get why they allowed people to obtain the Freedom or Sapphire Preferred bonus multiple times. They shouldn't allow people to have multiple Freedoms and Sapphire Preferreds if they are concerned about losing money. Citi is even more ridiculous with this, but I won't get into that.
