Amex Zync with chip?

well my next day (supposed too be friday) card came too me yesterday.

the card looks no different. possible that the rep just re-issued me the same card? (while it was supposed too be upgraded too zync with chip?)

also in the package, was my terms and condtions.

What..... have you called to get it fixed yet?

That's a bummer but when you get the right one you'll have 2 clean no marks cards

If it doesn't have the chip and the letter explaining chip & signature, then you need to call again.

Edit: once you get the chip card, you won't be able to use your old cards.

i used it last night and had no problems. (old card)

but i did get an email from my bank that my account number changed.

new card has new number so not sure what happened.

ill call in the am.

Once you activate the chip card, you will not be able to use your other (extra) Zyncs.

You can still use your old card providing the information is exactly the same. They issued me an EMV and everything is exact to the old mag version. YMMV, as always

I'm hoping mine has the same #ers. I was supposed to have it Monday and haven't received it yet though.

I haven't tried to use my old cards. The new one had a diff security code and CVV cife

Anything's possible. I requested EMV upgrades on my BCP and my AU's BCP. I received an express pay BCP and a regular BCP for my AU.

I called in to get my zync card changed to the emv chip and its on d way, I'll find out today when I get d mail, had them expedite it... I already got the BCE with emv, am now waiting for the zync, we shall see

I just got done chatting with an AMEX CSR, asked for the EMV (chip and signature) Zync card. At first, he stated that it was not available on the Zync, then tried to push ExpressPay. I kept on him about the EMV chip, he checked further, said it was not available on the Zync RIGHT NOW, but would be available after October 30th, 2013. I also tried to slide in a question about Zync's future, asked him if the delay could be because of a restructuring of benefits and a "rebranding" of the card, and he said that he couldn't comment on that. Could mean nothing...but could mean something as well ! !

Ah ah. You're so slick! Goog to ask him about the future of Zync. Couldn't comment on that means something to me.
