Chances of getting chase sapphire

Just opened a NFCU cash rewards 25k reporting to all 3 reports, utilization around 10%, scores hovering around 670, a few inquires 10-15 on all 3 right now, about half from auto loans... Would like to apply for the CSP and get approved for maybe 10k, have had 2 other chase cards for 1+ years

i know its not an guaranteed approval but have you tried the pre qual link on chase website, should give you an good idea of your chances?

I think you need to ask yourself if you really need this card. you just recieved your 25k line , and I recall you just recently did a bt from chase. If you are apporved you more likely will get a 5k limit and on recon , I am sure an anayist is going be worried with this being a new account you just opened and is a big increase.

Right, I really just want it for the dining rewards I eat out almost every night? So would you say there's a good possibility I will get it thru recon with 5k?

@I was approved for the Sapphire (my first Chase card) @ 5K in July with roughly the same scores, more inquiries, and high util. My highest limit was only 3K at the time and I didn't have to recon. If you go for it, good luck!!

That's really hard to say. Your new line just started to report but there have been a few that were approved without a $5k CL at all. If you have a solid banking relationship you could try. Refresh my memory, what's your profile?

No baddies, just a few 30/60 day lares from 3 years ago ford credit, recently opened a 23.5 k auto loan, have several small low limit store card, 25k NFCU, 4k freedom, 1700 chase BP, 1k Apple Barclays, 1k merrick, 800 cap1, 800 cap 1, 700 cap1, 500 cap1

If it's approved, it'll be based on your history with Chase. The NFCU is too new to take into consideration. I wish you luck!
