Has anyone had a Chase recon work? Does anyone know the number I would call for a recon?

Yes, That number worked for me too. Chase went from an online "we will contact you in 20 to 30 days" , to a "Yes, Thank you for your buisness" with a 3000 CL.

Give it a try and you might be surprised and if not, you havent lost anything.

Yes they work. And you can call back if the first recon doesn't work. In my experience it really depends on who you get on the other end of the call. I reconned one day, got denied. Called back the next day, talked to a different person and got approved for the Sony Card, 2500 limit. The credit specialists that evaluate you have some room to play with in their evaluations. What gets "kicked" by the system or indifferent workers can be overcome, sometimes, by just talking to someone different. Keep trying is my motto...lol. What are they gonna do? Take away your birthday?? They already denied you....lol. Might as well get your inquiry's worth...

Well I called three time first 2 denied third approved for 1500!!! Recon works!! Is Chase a good CC company? Good CLI's?

Just completed my 2nd Chase Recon in 2 days....1st -- 5k limit , 2nd -- 2k limit...they really want to say "yes"...wish everyone did ...

I feel really lucky to get my chase card my scores are below 600 I have lots of baddies and a chargoff. The first 2 reps pretty much laughed at me. The 3rd asked me tons of questions then approved me for 1500.

do they keep records of who calls to be reconsidered?
just wondering if they see if people have called 2-3 times and have been denied...and they see that and base their decision on what others have said.

Yah!!! I did it. I had my Cli denial overturned. On my second call. It was only for $500.00but that okay. It gives me a 3000 CLI. Macys Card went up to 1700.

Yeah! Got my first recon approved today! I called Chase 3 different times and finally I got a very nice guy who recommended me for $3000.00 cl!!! Loving Chase right now.

I think I may try for a Chase card at the end of july.. I've like 10 inquiries drop off from searching for a car loan leaving only 4 and I'll have a 43% util instead of 87%... maybe I'll get lucky...

I wrote a letter instead of calling. Haven't heard anything but then has only been about a week. I was declined because of my BK but sent a letter explaining why I filed and am hoping that will work. But will see. Chase pulled TU for me, not Equifax.

Call the backdoor number. A heck off alot easier to get the recon. I did it and it took all of 10 min to get a recon for $1500 and I should have the card in 7-10 days.
