I called to check on the status since it was still pending.

They wanted to verify my address.

Approved!

5K limit.

I do not mind the "low" limit compared to the 18K initial limit from Chase Marriott.

Since it is AMEX, I know that eventually will reach 20K in about 8 months (61 Day CLI + 6 months).

Since I applied over the phone I made clear that I wanted the 25K signup bonus. This was confirmed by them

So I am done apping for the rest of the year.

Shopping for mortgage next year!
