App for Chase Freedom

Hi All,

So I made a post here on Sunday, Sept 29 about if I would get approved for the Amazon Rewards Visa through Chase. I got an instant approval with a 2k limit. I also want the Chase Freedom and thought that it would be nice if both cards could age together. Do you think I will get approved for the card though? Or should I wait a year? My EQ is 741 with 0 inquiries (before I apped for the Amazon Rewards). AAoA before Amazon Rewards is 1 year 8 months. I have a Discover IT with 3k limit and BoA Cash Rewards with 1.5k limit. Possibility, Chase has a really good recon dept. The only issue may be the CL; are you ok with moving some of your Amazon if they try and give you $1000?

With Chase, don't you need to wait a year to move a CL from one card to the next? I am not sure how old the Amazon card is but just thought I would throw it out there if it was not a year old yet.

For approval, they let you move CL's - generally.

I think you should keep the Amazon VISA alone as the Freedom is practically a Discover IT clone in terms of benefits (even in the 5% rotating categories at times). If you do want to app for another Chase the CS or CSP is a nice way to diversify.

Edit: forgot about the Freedom app bonus. Free money is never a bad thing =P

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I would really like the $200 bonus for the holidays. I guess I would be OK with them transferring CL from the Amazon card. Do you think this would likely happen if I got approved?

CL allocations are not permitted between Chase business cards to personal cards, sorry.
