Need help with deciding new BoA credit limit

Just received a letter saying that I need to sent written agreement for credit line increase for recently unsecured BoA card

I was also informed that my credit score is 727 (Trans Union)

Income: $11.5k, College Student.

1) What credit limit would you recommend me to aim? (Thinking around $1,000)

2) is credit score of 727 good? what's possible card after gardening? (Chase Sapphire?)

Yes, totally ask for $1000. I'm assuming you had secured for 12 months and then graduated to unsecured?

Yes...a 727 is a good credit score.

I had secured card for around 10 month and I asked them to unsecure it manually

With a 727 I'd ask for $7500- and see if they counter

I agree with asking for more than $1000 but the reality is closer to $2500-$3000.

Also, tbh in order to get the benefit of CS or CSP, your income should be at least 3x that amount-minimum.

btw that's for Citi... Chase is $700

I mean I wouldn't sell yourself short by asking for $1k- I'm not saying they'd approve $7500 but they could always counter- what's the worst they'll say no, but we'll give you $2500?
