Chase has an automated phone line for status checks. 1-800-432-3117. Wait til it asks you to hit the # key and then it will let you enter your SSN.

ty. that worked. of course no status yet. They said wait 30 days but I would think they will know sooner than that.

Any idea how long they normally take?

I have no experience with Chase but BoA and WaMu took a full 3 weeks to look at me and decide.

Call this number, it's their credit analyst department 1-888-245-0625. Tell them you recently applied and didn't get an automatic response and would like to inquire, if they need any further information.

I know, huh? WaMu is shaping up to look like a pretty funky lender to me too. I stopped calling them. I'll just wait for the letter...lol.
