Added DW as an AU to my Amex card. Does Amex then accept increased spending patterns when you add an AU to you account? It will not change dramatically but possibly some. Thanks in advance.

You are fine as long as the AU and your spending doesn't exceed your income by a huge margin.

Thanks. When you refer to 'your' income do you mean mine individually or HH then b/c it is DW.

'income' would be whatever the number is on your tax docs.

If Amex ever FR you, you will be asked to show your tax docs, so that'll be the number they will be going with.

I did use individual not HH.

Then don't spend more than your individual income-to be safe. You probably file joint so your taxes will have higher income but why have them ask?

What are a few CC for fair-good credit that will aid in buiding my DW's credit as I add her as an AU?

Right now, I only have 2 CCs: Barclay MC (CL $1300) and QS One (CL $1250).
