Was looking through posts on high initial CL and jumped on the "duck" bandwagon. Was approved for 5k CL. How often do they give CLI?

Congrats on your approval. The Duck card is pretty new on the forum, so I doubt anyone has had it long enough to CLI. You have some good CLs w/Navy, so you might want to call and recon and see if they'd go to $10k. (Don't know how they do on recon, but it couldn't hurt.)

I'm considering apping after my CRs have updated. Would you mind sharing your stats: FICO, util, AAoA?

Congrats! Mine just arrived yesterday. Didn't even think about CLI's, but we all shall find out eventually.

All I can say congrats to everyone who has obtained this cc, I wonder what this DUCK card looks like, it just has an interesting name to it, lol.......

IMO, it doesn't look that bad. It's different looking. Like a matte dark green with a yellow "O" near the top. I think my Sportsman's Visa is the most unappealing card I have lol. When I showed my 14 year old, he said he thought it would have a Duck on it. So I explained to him why it's called the Duck Card.

This is known as the "MyFico affect" when you see something while out and about, and all you think about is the credit card it reminds you of....lol. You can't even tell anyone not on the forum, because they would think there is something wrong with you, so you share it here...where we all get the reference.
