BOA - Luv button instant?

I am debating on requesting another increase from them, I received one on Sept 26th but I use this card ALOT and pay huge amounts on it to keep util down.

When I got the increase last time I had called to get it, does the luv bottom usually give an instant decision?

they may instant approved or they may give you 7-10 day. But if you received 7-10 days. you can call back door numbers. BOA credit limit increase pull TU 100% for me and my family

+1 for TU for me as well. I asked for a $6500 increase from $13500 > $20000 and they HP'd on TU

i had account for less than 30 days and got 7-10 day message. got the increase the next day i logged into my account. good luck!

Thanks all, I am going to try next Friday after some accounts update. I have 0 inq's on TU and my score has went up to over 700 so I am hoping I get an increase. The analyst the gave me the last increase acted like he was doing me a favor by doing it, he was reallllly arrogant but $1000 limit when my score is over 700 really doesn't reflect my credit profile imo.

I tried it today but got the 7-10 days response. I called backdoor number 30 minutes later and was able to get an increase from $1500 to $5000. They did mention my accounts with them (2 personal and 3 business) so that may have really helped me. Good luck!

Well actually last time he gave me $5000 then the following day called and told me he thought on it and put the limit back down to $1000. Wasn't happy about it.

Last time I got a CLI it was auto from 700>2200 back in the beginning of August. Do you think its too soon to try for another?

That is really up to you, remember it is a HP on TU. If you have low or now inqs and have treated it well you should have a good chance.

Well i called one of the back door numbers a few days ago, the lady said I was managing my account perfectly, removed my annual fee and lowered my apr... So maybe I have a chance?

Lightning struck twice for me recently!

On my Merrill Lynch Plus card, requested a $5K increase, got instant approval, moving me up to $15K.

Figured I'd give the BofA Cash Rewards card a try, again requested $5K, got the 7-10 day letter message. Checked my account on line the next day, and lo and behold, there was the $5K increase on my Cash Rewards card as well!! $10K in CLI on the two cards! AND only one TU pull for it.

Give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised!
