Update - AMEX & CITI + AUTO CLI!!!

Hello again All

Been a few weeks and some good/bad stuff has gone on battle for Credit and myself

Bad

1) AMEX 3X denied due to "Low FICO score"

Good

1) Auto CLI Wal-Mart 800 -> 1,000

2) Paid off 3 cards (had been reporting around $30-60 for a few months love seeing $0 for first time in a while!)

Now for real questions

worth it to recon AMEX? I don't need a hit but Low FICO was very broad and I'm fairly certain the reason is my Discover card has HIGH UTIL due to school books (about $1,500 still on it)

Still havent received new MYBestBuy card, anyone who had before already get it?

I am as well wanting to CLI it to use for this upcoming holiday (rather have 24 months just in case)

Whats the approval odds and is there a new backdoor number for this?

Here's my current card info:

card/CL/Usage

Cap 1 - $1,300 - $0

Wal Mart - $1000 - $0

AMEX BCE - $1,000 - $115.67

Freedom - $3,000 - $0

DiscoverIT - $2,500 - $1,504.00

I don't include BBY because it is not yet reporting..

I'm wanting to get the CLI before I add any purchases to it and it looks like the UTIL is bad

As of right now I am using AMEX only and PIF as I get the Discover down along with it.

BIG ISSUE - 9 INQUIRIES I believe total

Congrats on the CLI you did get and paying off those balances...sure feels good! As far as Amex goes, I'd just wait to pay down your util on Discover and then try it again. I received my new MyBestBuy card in the mail a couple of days ago...looks kind of like the old one.

Sorry I didn't get to you earlier.

Amex doesn't do recons on denied CLI's. The best thing is to address whatever issues and try again in 90+ days.

I do not have a BBY card so cannot help with those questions.

Well, I bit the bullet and took a hit to try and get 2K on my BestBuy

They countered with 1.5K.. hardly seems worth it.

I think I'll try the backdoor number if I can get it increased with PS4 XboxOne and more importantly, gift for the father!!!

Is CITI usually good with this?

I figured a 2x increase seemed reasonable with my profile.

I was under the impression that they are not issuing new BB cards by default.

When I spoke to rep, the Credit Cards are all being given out between last week of October to Second Week of November

From work, I do know the actual MyBestBuy membership program (formerly Reward Zone) cards are not being re-sent out

I recieved a new one because I was one of lucky few who could register when the accounts switched to Citi. Also had them increase my cli from 750 -> 5000. i already had several limits higher then that and low utuilization so your experience may vary.
