How many Chase CC do you have ?

Hi All,

How many chase CC do you have so far ? What is the gap ( no of months) you had between each chase credit card?

Can some one tell me how many credit cards can we have from chase ?

Currently I have 3: Chase freedom, CSP, Chase amazon.

I had a gap of 10 months each.

I have seven JPMC cards in total.

1. J.P. Morgan Palladium (March 2012)

2. Chase Sapphire Preferred Visa (March 2012)

3. Chase Freedom Visa (May 2012)

4. Chase Ink Bold (November 2012)

5. United MileagePlus Explorer (February 2013)

6. Chase Ink Plus (July 2013)

7. Chase Sapphire Preferred MC (July 2013)

There is no hard limit on the number of cards you can have. At a certain point, you will start running into resistance, but that point is different for everyone. In general, I would avoid applying for more than two JPMC cards in a 31 day period.

It's just a car loan (same with Lexus) - perhaps it doesn't belong in my signature?

I do plan to apply for the 50k MB AmEx, but just got the personal and business SPG a couple of months ago so going to let those season for a bit longer.

I have 4:

Amazon ($3k)

UA Explorer ($6k)

Hyatt ($8k)

CSP ($12k)

Apps were spaced about 5 months apart.

I had two. Chase Amazon and Chase Freedom. Apps were only a few days apart. Both approved. I only have Chase Freddom now.

I have 5. Freedom, Marriott, CSP, Ritz, and Palladium. I got three in a span of a little over a month - maybe about 2 weeks apart.

I would think that it's not necessarily the number of cards but what your internal limit with Chase thay they will allow. And you can always move limits around.

Amazon Visa Sig ($6K)

Chase Freedom Visa Sig ($10K)

UA MP Explorer Visa Sig ($10K)

British Airways Visa Sig ($9K)

CSP ($15K)

CSP was approved Oct 2012, British Airways in July 2013.

As bribo mentioned, I don't believe Chase cares about the number of cards; they care about the total credit limit. Unlike American Express that seems to only allow four revolvers.

^^Chase actually sent me a letter stating I had reached their internal limit after I requested a CLI...lol. The amount I asked for wasn't approved but it came pretty close.

Shrug. I doubt it matters much either way. I knew about the Lexus card and assumed you had that one. The Lexus card isn't horrible if you are a fan of Lexus:

I am curious about the Ink Bold (that's the charge card right?). I recently got the Ink Plus as well. Thinking about the Ink Bold as well for sign up bonus, but the charge card aspect is interesting to me. Have you been using the Bold actively and how does Chase handle limits on it? Does the limit grow and grow similarly to how AMEX charge cards can grow? Also, do they let you know what the limit is unlike AMEX charge cards?

I have two cards with them. Down the road I'd like to add a third as I phase out some other cards.

Question for people though...If you're approved for a new card with Chase, could you call the credit analystis and ask them to evaluate your existing limits without a second hard pull?

I find it amusing that most of my Chase cards don't report on my personal credit report. The next card I would look at from them is either the Amazon Card and/or INK Bold.

Unfortunately, no.

The HP incurred for a new CC is considered separate. Any other customer-initiated CLI requests will have their own separate HPs, per card. Very rarely do the combine.

I have 3

Chase Amazon - 7K

Amtrak Guest Rewards - 10K

Ink Classic - 13K

Amazon and Amtrak were opened a 4 months apart. The only card I even remotely use is my Ink card..... Both the Amazon and Amtrak are SD'd just helping keep my Utilization in low. I was thinking about PC'ing the Amtrak to CSP, but then found out 1 - Chase doesn't PC partner cards to non-partner, 2 - I woundn't get the CSP bonus anyway.
