Comenity 9 month mark

So its been 9 months as of Nov on my comenity cards (mimus the 2 I just received last week) hit the luv button and still no dice I stil get the 7-10 which I know is no. So is it safe to say that there is not always love at 9 months? Are there any other factors? Some cards I use (like once) some I never have, one has a high balance but pay frequently.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, it is a crap shoot.

Are you on the 10th statement? That's when I was able to get a bump on my VS and Express cards.

You should try for a CLI on your J.Crew card. I have one and it's been getting increases almost every month since I've had it...

I see... No I got them in March my 10th statement wont actually be until next month. I didnt know you had to wait until the statement, I just thought once 9 months hits you get it. My J Crew I just got last week along with Ann Talyor. Out of curiosity I tried with J Crew and got the 7-10 which I was expecting. Oh well guess I will try again nect month. As I said I really dont use them excpet for Express DH is addicted so thats the one we use the most. Vickies I used once when I got it for 50 bucks, paid off. King Size used twice when I got it,paid off. Buckle used once when I got it, paid off. One stop used once when I got, it paid off. The other One stop never used. I just realy want the increase for utl purposes not to shop. I guess its a YMMV type thing.

Try J.Crew again before your statement cuts for the month. The way I've done it is that since my statement cuts on the 1st, I'd either hit the button on the last day before OR right on the 1st (since the statement won't actually cut towards the end of the day anyway)

FWIW, I have a couple of Comenity cards that I've never used get a CLI at 9 months. Either 9 or 10...I'd have to check my reports for the open dates.

I dont think I will get a statement for the J crew one as I have not used it yet. So I have no idea what the statement date is. I will give em all a whirl next month and see what happens lol. Since its not a HP I'm fine with denails for cli.

All Comenity cards are different in terms of CLI. My j Crew luv button has worked every month since I've had it (until I hit 1100 then this month it stopped), Express was an auto CLI after 6 mos, then at 9 luv button worked, Vicky hasn't given me any luv and it's been a year with that broad!

One thing though-- not only should you wait until statement date, but wait until the statement actually posts to your account (a day or so after statement date).

If your due date is the 28th, then your statement date is probably around the 1st. (Mine are similar).

You would hit the button on the 1st.

Even if a statement isn't generated, the account will be reported on the 1st regardless.

My due dates are the 16th and statement cut date is 18th to 21st, never the same. They also email you when it posts if you're set up that way, if no balance then you know when you see it hit your EX report. Mine hits EX first, next day EQ, next day TU. lol dumb. Although my J CREW dind't report for about 3 months when I had no balance. I was getting a CLI each month but still never reported. I finally bought something just to get it to report my increases! Ugh.

Only about a month.
